LOV&FUNCTION is a 3-day course that offers
ALL THE TOPICS of the course FUNFUNCTION plus an additional day where the functional exploration
of the mouth will be illustrated.
Maintaining always a very pragmatical approach, typical of the 3STEP Gnathology, new topics will be developed: the development and the ageing of the oral cavity, the role of the tongue and the lips will enrich your global vision to satisfy the necessities of a larger population of dysfunctional patients.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn how to do and read the results of a Gtest
- Classify the chewing pattern of patients
- Understand the functional causes that led to the damage (fracture of the restorations, wear of the teeth, occlusal instability)
- Gather all information about the patient’s function before initiating therapy
- Identify reconstructive errors of previous dental care
- Understand the Anterior functional conflicts that lead to incisal edge wear
- Define how a dentition should age Understanding occlusal adjustment
Special Day 3:
- Explain the mechanisms for a correct development of the human body and in the specific of the mouth
- Describe how the teeth will age based to the different paths of chewing and the muscular nature of each patient
- Discover the amazing role of the tongue not only to correctly swallow but also to conform the dental arches and to improve the breathing
- Learn how to record a bite registration to start the 3STEP rehabilitation
