Video Lecture 4
What should clinicians do during the first consultation with the patient, and what information should they gather in order to correctly diagnose the problem and structure the appropriate treatment plan?
Before starting any treatment, an accurate diagnosis of the origin of the tooth damage should be made. Although the loss of tooth structure is often multifactorial, clinicians should still try to identify the root cause to make a prediction of how the restored teeth will age in the future.
In this lecture, Dr Francesca Vailati provides all the elements necessary to make a differential diagnosis between erosion and parafunction.
